Sweet Noa, happy birthday baby girl. I love who you are today, I am excited to watch who you will become in the next year. I can’t belive it’s been a whole year since you arrived. I love being your mommy, you are so much fun. You smile at everyone everywhere we go and people love when you do. Every outing and activity is a trip to Disney for you and All of the sudden in the past few weeks you have become very opinionated. You have your way of letting me know what you want to eat and drink, which toy you want or which room you want to play in. You are able to go where you want, get almost everything you want and when your sisters take something that you want you make sure they know how you feel about it. You love the outdoors, the swing, the slide, playing in the deck and even in the grass and sandbox. Sure you usually come back looking like a miner but that’s what baths are for. After nearly a year of bathing all alone you are not big and confident enough to get in with your sisters. You get washed first then get out so they can be the crazy toddlers that they are. And dare I mention that just this week you have starting sleeping most of the night, from 7-5am, I’ll take it! Maybe it’s because you are so tired from standing up all day! You test your standing skills on anything you can, including my boot! You’ve still got some time before you are off in your own, your steps holding my hands are pretty wobbly, take your time. I’m in no rush for you to walk away from me. Your little baby words are so cute, buh buh (bye, bye) and ha (hi) and mamamama (when you are hungry).
Your sisters love you so much, thier faces light up every morning when they see you, as does yours. Jordan will climb into your crib to play if you both wake up too early giving me a few more minutes to sleep. And Talia has become my safety officer by making sure all the doors are shut so you don’t get into trouble in the rooms. Especially the bathroom. It’s your new favorite place, seeing what’s in the trash or playing in the water in the toilet. When you threw your pacifier in the toilet Talia lovingly fished it out (gross). Yes, you still use your pacifier. For sleeping always and many times during the day.
I am sorry that I didn’t blog everyday for you. Life got busy this year, being a home mom doesn’t have the down time for blogging like one might think. But while I didn’t get to write about every moment, I got to be there. I have lots of pictures to help remember so if you ever want to know the story behind a picture, just ask. I love you baby girl.
