A little bit of dancing

by Juliemara

Talia is the bossy one. She leads Jordan to do what she wants to do and always wants what Jordan is playing with. She babbles and babbles to her sister and really gets unhappy when her sister is not near by. Jordan is happy to comply most of the time, Talia’s games make her laugh and laugh. And when she laughs she does it with her whole body, her belly and shoulders laugh too! Other times we have to go searching for Jordan because she is off playing quietly by herself. She gets very protective of her current toy fearing Talia will take it, she hugs whatever it is at the moment close to her body and makes her funny face.

Sometimes she tries to eat the toy. Not sure how that would solve the problem but she usually doesn’t get too far with that attempt.

In the video Talia and Jordan are singing and dancing to oogah, oogah, oogah. It’s the Hebrew version of Ring Around the Rosie. During their dance Jordan runs off a few times and Talia is heard yelling “dy, dy, dy” It’s her way of saying “Yadyim”, the hebrew word for “hands”. At the end of the video my husband is heard in the back ground asking the girls to go do their dancing on the carpet by the couch.

I love their names! My twins are Gwen and Bella. It’s great to see twins that don’t have super matchy names 😉

Those are beautiful names! We were never into the matching name thing. We really tried to choose names the are pronounced the same in English as in Hebrew. But we only succeeded with Talia on that one. Jordan is pronounced yarden.
